02 November: Fajrum Rahmal Alam (20) died while seven others were severely injured as a girder collapsed on them at an under-construction flyover in Uran, Maharashtra.
02 November: Ashful (25) died and six others were injured at under-construction Omex Mall in Chandni Chowk due to utter disregard for living conditions of workers by employer and responsible government authorities.
03 November: Abhishek (22) fell to his death and another worker was seriously injured inside a Bathinda refinery due to lack of provision of safety equipment by employer, gross negligence by responsible govt authorities.
03 November: Manjunath (38) died and another worker was injured after a concrete slab collapsed on them while working at an under-construction house in Mangalore’s Kota.
06 November: Vinay Kumar, Shushil Gupta, Devendra Kumar, Anish Kumar and Rajan Kumar were asphyxiated to death inside an Effluent Treatment Plant of pharmaceutical firm Tuttsan Pharma in the Khatraj GIDC of Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The workers hadn’t been provided any safety equipment by the employer. Police registered a case of accidental death.
06 November: Sumit Kumar was buried to death under debris after a slab on which he was standing caved-in while doing repair work at a dilapidated house in Rampur’s Civil Lines in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Police filed a case of negligence against the house owner.
09 November: Yaqub Ali (19) died after inhaling poisonous gas while cleaning a sewer near Sheetla Mata temple in Gurgaon’s Sector 5. The private contractor which employed him didn’t provide him with any safety equipment. Police filed an FIR against the company for causing death due to negligence.
10 November: Four workers of state-owned miner SCCL killed in coal mine roof collapse in Telangana’s Mancherial district due to lax labour law implementation. Implementation of new Labour codes to only exaggerate unsafe working conditions for workers.
15 November: Atum Das and one unidentified worker were buried to death while working in the basement of a four-storeyed building in Noida’s Sector 20 after an under-construction wall collapsed.
16 November: Sohaib Ali (42) died and four others were injured in a gas cylinder blast while working in a steel company in sector 6 of Faridabad.
17 November: Akshay Dehuri (42) fell to his death while laying asbestos sheets on a building inside Nalco’s Smelter plant in Odisha’s Angul, due to the lack of provision of safety equipment by the employers.
18 November: Sunita, Laxmi and Pappu died and one was injured when a portion of soil fell on them while doing soil digging work at the basement of a construction site in Sarai Balbhadhar Mohalla in Rewari.
21 November: Imran Shaikh (20) fell to his death while working on the 18th floor of an under-construction highrise in Mumbai’s Borivali East without provision of any safety equipment. Police booked the developer, contractor and the site supervisor under IPC section 304 for causing death due to negligence.
28 November: Manikanta and Durga Prasad, both around 25, died after inhaling poisonous gases due to a gas leak in a pump house of the Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City (JNPC) in Visakhapatnam.
28 November: Nenavath Srinu (40) and Ullamgonda Anjaiah (32) were asphyxiated to death while cleaning a sewage tank at high-rise apartments in IT Corridor’s Kondapur area in Hyderabad.
