Goa government rejects mining company’s plea for retrenchment of 345 mining workers
20 July 2018: Goa Rajya Kaamgar Mahasangh registered a major victory against the management of Chowgule Group’s mining division as the government struck down management’s application for retrenchment of 345 mining workers from Pale, Costi and Sirigao region of Goa. In April the management had terminated services of around 500 of its workers.
